Course Summaries

Overview

The Course Summaries view provides a district- or school-wide snapshot of each active teacher's current course load. For every teacher, it lists the distinct courses they are teaching this quarter, the score type associated with each course, and how many students are enrolled.

This view is designed for administrators who need to review teacher assignments across many teachers at once, without clicking into each teacher's profile individually.

How It Works

  1. Course and enrollment data is imported from your Student Information System (SIS) each night (or through manual upload).
  2. The page defaults to the current school year and quarter.
  3. Only active teachers who have at least one course for the selected year and quarter are shown.
  4. Within each teacher card, courses are de-duplicated so the same course taught across multiple periods appears only once, with the combined student count.

Equity Analytics does not create or modify course assignments — it reflects what your SIS reports.

What You'll See

For each teacher, the view displays a card containing:

A blue banner at the top of the page confirms the year, quarter, and (when applied) school filter currently in view.
