Score Information

This is the fifth step of the onboarding wizard. It tells Equity Analytics how your scores should be calculated and how your schools and courses map to tested subjects.

Import your current schools first

This step needs your schools, which come from the Current SIS Files step. If you see a prompt to import schools, finish that step first and come back.

Benchmark information

  • Assessment Vendor the vendor that provides your benchmark assessments: Mastery Connect or ELS.
  • Calculation Type how your cut scores are determined:

Calculation type changes the next step

If you choose Vendor Defined, the Benchmark Ranges step is skipped because the vendor supplies the ranges. If you choose District Defined or K–1 District Defined, you will set your cut scores in the Benchmark Ranges step.

School information

Select any schools with semester (4x4) classes. These are schools that run courses on a semester (4x4) block schedule. Marking them here ensures their end-of-course scores are imported correctly, including the extra fall semester score file later in onboarding.

Feeder patterns

This section appears only if your district has feeder schools — schools where students take end-of-course (EOC) classes whose scores are banked to a different school. For each feeder school, select the school its scores should bank to.

See Banked Patterns for a fuller explanation of how feeder and banked schools work.

Feeder courses

Feeder courses are locally-taught classes that prepare students for MAAP-tested subjects. Select your feeder courses for English, Math, and Science so students in those classes are given the appropriate MAAP benchmark.

See Feeder Subject Assignments for more on how feeder courses map to subjects.

When everything is set, click Save & Continue.
