The Current LPS Cutoffs page displays the scale score cutoffs used to determine which students are included in the Low Performing Students (LPS) list for each grade level and subject.


Accessing the View


What You’ll See

The Current LPS Cutoffs page includes:

  • A header confirming the cutoffs are current as of the latest nightly update.
  • Grade-level scale score cutoffs for:
    • English Language Arts
    • Math
  • Each cutoff shows the minimum scale score at which a student is considered not low-performing.
    • Students with scores below this cutoff are included in the LPS list.

Role-Based Access

  • Teachers: See cutoff values only for the subject(s) they are responsible for teaching.
  • School users: See cutoff values for all grades and both subjects within their school, including MAAP-A students.
  • District users: See cutoff values for all grades and both subjects district-wide, including MAAP-A students.

Why This Matters
