After You Submit

When you click Onboarding Complete on the Status step, your district moves into processing. This page explains what happens from that moment until your district is live, and what to do in each phase.


1. Importing (your access is paused)

As soon as you submit, your district enters the importing phase. Equity Analytics works through everything you uploaded: your schools, staff, students, enrollments, and schedules; your prior-year readiness standards; your SLAIF files for the last three years; your scores and impacts; and your state impact files.

While this runs:

  • Your access is temporarily paused. You will see a "We'll be back shortly" maintenance screen.
  • You do not need to do anything. Our team is notified automatically and monitors the import.

This phase is automated and usually takes a few minutes to a little longer depending on the size of your district.


2. Validating (verify your data)

Once the import finishes and our team has reviewed it, we open the validating phase and your access is restored. You will receive the Verify your data email letting you know it is time to look things over.

In this phase:

  • Review your imported data to confirm it looks right: your schools, students, scores, and impacts.
  • If anything looks off, open a Helpdesk Ticket. We are happy to set up a call to review the data together.

Your district is not fully live yet. This is your chance to catch problems before your whole district gets access.


3. Completed (your district is live)

When you confirm the data is correct, we mark your onboarding complete. You will receive the Onboarding Complete email, and your district's staff gain access to the platform.

If your district uses custom or K–1 cut scores, your completion email includes a link to instructions for reviewing and adjusting your custom cut scores, which start from default values.
