Viewing Your SIS Files
The SIS Files view shows the Student Information System (SIS) files currently stored for your district, along with their last-modified timestamps. Use it to confirm that your nightly upload delivered the expected files and to spot files that haven't been refreshed recently.
Accessing the View
- Open your district dashboard.
- Click the SIS Files tile.
Only district admins (and Equity Analytics support staff) can see this view.
What You'll See
A list of every CSV file at the top level of your district's directory. For each file:
- File name (e.g.,
students.csv,enrollments.csv) - Last modified — the date and time the file was last updated, shown in your account's time zone
- File size
- Download — fetches a copy of the file directly to your computer
What to Look For
- Recent timestamps across all files — if your nightly sync ran successfully, the timestamps should reflect the most recent sync run.
- A stale file — if one file is significantly older than the rest, your sync may be skipping it. Open a Helpdesk Ticket so we can investigate.
- A missing file — if an expected file (e.g.,
enrollments.csv) isn't listed at all, the sync didn't produce it. Coordinate with your district technology staff to confirm the export, then open a Helpdesk Ticket if it persists.
Downloading a File
Click Download next to any file to retrieve the current copy from storage. The download link is short-lived and signed for your session — share the file directly, not the link.
