Viewing Your SIS Files

The SIS Files view shows the Student Information System (SIS) files currently stored for your district, along with their last-modified timestamps. Use it to confirm that your nightly upload delivered the expected files and to spot files that haven't been refreshed recently.

Accessing the View

  1. Open your district dashboard.
  2. Click the SIS Files tile.

Only district admins (and Equity Analytics support staff) can see this view.

What You'll See

A list of every CSV file at the top level of your district's directory. For each file:

  • File name (e.g., students.csv, enrollments.csv)
  • Last modified — the date and time the file was last updated, shown in your account's time zone
  • File size
  • Download — fetches a copy of the file directly to your computer

What to Look For

  • Recent timestamps across all files — if your nightly sync ran successfully, the timestamps should reflect the most recent sync run.
  • A stale file — if one file is significantly older than the rest, your sync may be skipping it. Open a Helpdesk Ticket so we can investigate.
  • A missing file — if an expected file (e.g., enrollments.csv) isn't listed at all, the sync didn't produce it. Coordinate with your district technology staff to confirm the export, then open a Helpdesk Ticket if it persists.

Downloading a File

Click Download next to any file to retrieve the current copy from storage. The download link is short-lived and signed for your session — share the file directly, not the link.
