Setting Teacher Impact Goals
This guide walks teachers through how to set a Teacher Impact Goal in Equity Analytics, allowing each teacher to select their subjects, teacher type, and set personal benchmarks for the school year.
Step 1 — Sign In
Log in to Equity Analytics with your district email credentials.
Step 2 — Open the Impact Goals Page
From the homepage, click the Impact Goals tile.

If no goal has been created yet for the teacher, the following message will appear:
No Impact Goals have been created yet for TEACHER NAME. Click “New Impact Goal” above to get started.
Step 3 — Click New Impact Goal
In the top right, click the green New Impact Goal button.
This opens the Teacher Impact Goal form.

Step 4 — Select Teacher Type and Subject Area(s)
Teachers must select both of the following before entering any goal values:
1. Select Your Subject(s)
Choose the subjects included in your schedule:
- English
- Math
- Science
- History
2. Select Your Teacher Type
Use the dropdown to select the correct teacher point type:
- 100 Point Teacher
- 200 Point Teacher
- 300 Point Teacher
- 400 Point Teacher
- 600 Point Teacher
- 700 Point Teacher
If you are unsure which teacher type to select, click the link under the dropdown to view the Teacher Cut Score Cheatsheet:

Visit: Teacher Cut Score Cheatsheet
You must select your subjects and teacher type before the goal fields will appear.
Step 5 — Enter Your Goal Values
Once your teacher type and subjects are selected, the Impact Goal fields will appear. You only need to fill out the goal values that are visible on your screen — different teacher types require different goal fields.
Enter values for the areas that appear after selecting your teacher type:
- Proficiency
- Growth (all students and low students)
- Pass rate (per subject)
The Total and Projected Grade will update automatically at the bottom of the form.
Example 1 — 100 Point Teacher
A 100 Point Teacher only enters Proficiency values. No growth fields will appear for this teacher type.

Example 2 — 300 Point Teacher
A 300 Point Teacher enters values for: - Proficiency - Growth of All - Growth of Low
Only these fields will appear — you do not need to fill in anything that is not on the screen.

Each teacher type will only display the fields required for their impact calculation. You only need to complete what appears on your screen.
Step 6 — Save the Impact Goal
Click Create Impact Goal to save.
The saved goal will now appear on your Teacher Impact Goals page and will be used for tracking throughout the school year.
Step 7 — Editing an Existing Impact Goal
To make changes to an existing Impact Goal, click the red Edit button on the top-right of the page.

After making updates, click Update Impact Goal to save.
You cannot create more than one Impact Goal using the same year and assessment combination. Each year and assessment can only have one teacher Impact Goal.
