Current Low Performing Students (LPS) View
Overview
The Current Low Performing Students (LPS) View provides teachers, school leaders, and district administrators with a nightly-updated list of students identified as Low Performing Students under the rules and definitions set forth by the Department of Education.
This view helps educators monitor students who meet the state’s LPS criteria and ensure appropriate supports are being provided.
Accessing the View
- Navigate to your Equity Analytics homepage.
- On the landing page, click the Current Low Performing Students (LPS) button.
What You’ll See
The Current LPS View includes:
- A search bar to quickly find students by name.

Summary metrics that display:
- Total ELA LPS
- Students meeting LPS criteria in English Language Arts
- Total ELA SPED LPS
- Subset of ELA LPS students receiving SPED services
- Total Math LPS
- Students meeting LPS criteria in Math
- Total Math SPED LPS
- Subset of Math LPS students receiving SPED services
- Total ELA LPS

A student-level list showing:
- Student name
- School and grade
- Subject and scale score
- Performance level
Each student entry is clickable, allowing you to view their individual student record and historical performance.
Role-Based Subject Visibility
- Teachers: Only see students (and LPS data) for the subject(s) they are responsible for teaching.
- School users: See all LPS students for their school across both subjects (ELA and Math), including MAAP-A students.
- District users: See all LPS students across the district, for both subjects (ELA and Math), including MAAP-A students.
Current LPS Cutoffs

Export Options
The Current LPS View supports multiple export options:
- CSV Export: Download the LPS list into a spreadsheet for deeper analysis.
- PDF Export: Generate a formatted report for sharing or printing.
Support
If you encounter any issues:
- If a student appears to be missing from the LPS list, first confirm their information in your Student Information System (SIS), since Equity Analytics updates nightly from SIS enrollment and scores.
- If the student should be included but is not showing, contact your district’s Equity Analytics point of contact for verification.
