When benchmark, state test, or SLAIF data is uploaded to Equity Analytics, it typically takes 24 to 48 hours for the upload to be fully processed and reflected across dashboards, reports, and exports.
This processing window ensures that every file is validated, matched, and calculated accurately before results are visible to end users.
Why Processing Takes Time
Each data upload undergoes multiple quality control steps to maintain the accuracy and reliability of your district’s data. While many uploads complete sooner, a full 24–48 hour window allows for careful verification, especially during high-volume processing periods.
What Happens During the 24–48 Hour Window
During this time, Equity Analytics performs the following steps:

File Formatting and Validation
- Each uploaded file is scanned for formatting errors and structural issues.
- Headers, file types, and field mappings are verified against district configuration requirements.

Student Record Matching
- Student data from the upload is matched to existing student profiles in the system.
- This process ensures that records align correctly across enrollments, scores, and demographic data.
- Manual review may occur when discrepancies, duplicates, or unrecognized IDs are detected.

Calculations and Data Integration
- Once validated, the system runs key calculations, including accountability indicators, growth metrics, and subgroup data updates.
- Data is integrated into the appropriate dashboards and views across the platform.

Quality Assurance and Verification
- Equity Analytics staff review the processed data to confirm accuracy before it is released to district users.
- This manual verification step prevents errors from propagating through exports, reports, or accountability metrics.
Best Practices for Districts
To help ensure timely processing:
- Double-check file names and formats before uploading.
- Ensure all required files are uploaded. Equity Analytics will not begin processing until all data files for the submission are received.
- Ensure each uploaded file is unique. If you need to upload new or updated files, please reach out to support@equityanalyticsms.com before doing so.
What to Expect After Processing
Once processing is complete:
- Data will appear in all relevant dashboards, reports, and exports.
- A confirmation email will be sent to the district point of contact when uploads finish processing.
- Maintenance Mode will be temporarily activated to ensure data integrity.
- Maintenance Mode restricts access for all non–District Admin users, preventing them from navigating the site until District Admins unlock access.
